The source of the problem and the solution are seen every day when you look in the mirror. Expectations are not clearly communicated and accountability isn’t felt within the organization. Employees are permitted to underperform without recourse. There is a good chance the employees don’t even understand they are not performing and creating frustration.
Next time you look in the mirror, resolve before they day is out, expectations will be clear and feedback will be immediate. Commit to no longer accept under performance or take responsibility for other’s work, hold employees accountable and coach your team to exceptional performance or help them find another place to be successful.
